Donnington Moto GP - Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi started the Donnington Moto GP second on the grid, next to his team mate Colin Edwards, but got a bad start from which he never recovered.

Why's he going the other way in the first picture? Did he forget something and have to go back?

The title over your blog is messed up. Is it just coincidence that mine isn't showing my picture today too?

My wife calls up and asks me to look at "Neil's funny comment on Dave's blog"

Very funny Neil!

Abt pictures not showing up - its our favourite network admin blocking things at random.

Dave - the quality of your pictures is exceptional. The focus is dead precise, the fence is not even seen. The fence was not exactly close to us even, more or less mid way b/w us and the track.

I'm glad I entertain someone

Very cool photos! I would love to see you do some special work on the bottom left one and make the road look like a river of speed, like liquid. Do you do much after capture work?

Thanks for the comments. I tend to do a little post-capture stuff on all my photos - but only cropping and tweaking things like white balance, contrast and levels and occasionally converting to B&W. I much prefer taking photos than spending hours in front of the computer later.

I completely agree with you, also it seems that all the photo programs have their own little headaches.

You take great photos Dave thanks for posting them.
